I have been extending my library within evernote with pictures of my details, I have kept a lot of these with a Vectorworks file called “steves bits”, and for the most part this is great, I load it up as and when I need within Vectorworks, but if I am writing or pulling a presentation together, which I am at present, then I have to load up Vectorworks, find the right detail and convert to a jpg or tif file, this takes a little time to do, so for the first time I have started to think about future articles and presentations with a bank of details ready to pull in, and interestingly, I have had a warning from Evernote, to tell me I'm approaching the upper limit of my free monthly upload, excellent.

The beauty of Evernote is that the tags, and you should read my last blog on use of tags, which allow me to have the standard Catergory of details, with tags splitting this out, and allow me to find similar details.

Should you be doing the same, I can't say, but it's an interesting addition for your CV, I intend to make a full blog on the generation and use of your CV, seems to me this document need updating, but agencies are blocking it with their need to use word .doc formats, but back to the generation of the detail, what's the best way, well for me it's with a program called grabit, this allows me to draw a detail and at a certain stage, I make a copy, continue with the detail and make a further copies, with perhaps three or four versions as the detail develops, quite usefull for for presentations.

I write this as I watch the rain, I should be in the garden, but it's to wet, so I thought I would blog, well it's Sunday, just how much of the stuff are we going to get, all the local lanes, we're there is no real kerb, are all pitted with mud as drivers have been forced, or have decided to drive onto the verge.

I'm also watching Leo Laport “'the tech guy” via my Apple TV box, trying to keep up with the in's and outs of the Internet, so much is going on, with new products, google, Apple and other's jockeying for control, I saved a great picture today from Zite, an electronic new program I use onthe iPad, that shows the routes of the major Internet links about the globe, interesting that the sea is we're most of the major lines are laid.

Well that's it for today, my dog, I say, my, perhaps it right to say that the dog we live with, is sleeping on the lounge floor, is the picture for Sunday, she is waiting for the rain to finish, so I can take her for a walk, get this a labrador who hates the rain, still she's well over 11, and considered old, so I go with how she feels.
