Well today its a presentation to the national trust on blogging, what might you ask as this to do with CPD, well loads, as it happens, the art of learning has changed, you no longer have to rely upon a school, to organize and disseminate knowledge, it’s there for you to pick up from the net, and blogs are just a perfect example of this new wave, I use my reader, well, several readers to collect information pertinent to my current state of interest, plus sites I know always come up with the goods as far as related matter is concerned, learning is not required, its a current state of living, I see it every where, from old toilets, to bridge construction to garden walls, to the common domestic house on a new estate., its everywhere. but the net is my real garden, I listen to bloggs, I watch blogs, I read blogs, I use my iPhone to collect information, I subscribe to so may news letters, but blogs are my favorite. Pictures are also becoming a huge interest, the more I take, the more I want to see other users pictures, Flickr and picasa are just wonderful. Are exhibitions dead, no, they might have to evolve to take account of the changes in the net, but I will still go to them, the Eccobuild event in London is certainly on for me, but interbuild, needs to change, they, the organizers are to interested in keeping information unless you pay for it, not right.
