Architectural Technology – Touchcad

I came on this wonderful technology from Jon Pickup of Archoncad, and was blown by the technology. Touchcad is a 3D CAD program that lets you unfold complex shapes into a flat pattern, so for example if you have a tent structure and want to see the tent as a flat template then this program will do it for you.

Best place to start is the video on the main web page its about 6 mins long and captivating

I can see many Architects wanting to use this program to allow complex tent structures to be easily designed and produced.
