Nemetschek have announced a series of new webinars from March 23rd through to March 31st, with some nice subjects being covered, the first two:

Mar 23rd & 24th

Top 10 Tricks in Vectorworks Landmark and Renderworks
Time: 1:00 p.m. EDT
Mar 23rd & 24th
Top 10 Tricks in Vectorworks Fundamentals and Renderworks
Time: 3:00 p.m. EDT

Both via gotomeeting look as through they are free, I can’t make either of these dates as I’m away, so I hope they are recorded, but the remainder have a price tag of $25, which I find a little suprising, I would have thought that they would also be free. I would like to have seen the :

Mar 25 & 31st

Do BIM Today
$25

&

Mar 25 & 31st

Working Efficiently with Internal and External Resources
$25

Do I want to pay $25 for a lecture, Mmmm have to think about that, both are subjects I would like to have seen being presented. They are an hour long, so content covered should be reasonable, I wonder who the speaker is, if I’m paying, I’d like to know, ok I will attend on the 31st. The time difference means a late doo for me, but hey, I am used to that with Jon Pickup.

I suppose $25 is cheap compared to other lectures I have seen advertised, but then I’m paying for a top class lecturer, Francois Levy charges a lot more for his lectures, but he’s a qualified Lecturer with an impeccable pedigree, and my own association CIAT, also charge for lectures given by specialists, we have a solicitor coming soon and I know there will be a charge for that. So ok $50 for two lectures is peanuts and I am getting 2 hours of quality CPD……. and it makes the quality lectures we get from Jon Pickup and the monthly notes fantastic value.  So I have registered, for the 31st, I have Email confirmation, but no charge, strange !.
