I was listening to Twit last night with Leo Laport , Gina Trapani, and Jeff Jarvis, and Gina came out with a statement that she has written an online book for people who want to understand Google Wave,  currently its free and online, just go to The Complete Guide to Google Wave.

Google wave is the next Email, its a collaboration tool that seems to address all the wrong and out dated things Email has, yet some comment coming back from noted web people, state they don’t understand it, well Gina has certainly made advances into this by writing a short but easy to follow guide, As she adds more to it, it will be pushed up as a Separate pdf. From her notes on the web page Gina wrote it with Adam Pash from Lifehacker. As Gina says, ”

I’ve compiled everything we know how to do in Google Wave in a book format at completewaveguide.com. I’m calling it a book, but for now it’s just a web site–with eight “chapters” and two “appendices,” free for you to read, share, and if we’re lucky, help us expand. The site will grow into traditional book formats, however: thanks to the team at 3ones, a PDF version of the book’s preview edition will be available for purchase this month. In January of 2010, a softcover print version of the book’s first edition will be available as well as an updated PDF. Adam and I have committed to four editions throughout 2010, so the book will change and evolve along with Wave. The latest and greatest version of the book will always be available for free at completewaveguide.com.

You might wonder where the CPD is in all this, well simply Architectural offices are project based, we send out Email constantly, and what the open pages in the book says are so correct, one email might be on 30 different machines, so using google is certainly a no brainer when it comes to simplifying correspondence and what about drawing issue, as far as I understand it, just drag them in to an issue sheet, job done. I will claim and hour to read this and do some research.
