remember some time back I went on about 3D printing, well Makerbot company have made an open source 3D printer that may not have the fineness of the major companies, but it works and sells for about $750, now there is an element of home assemble on this so be warned, but I like this and will follow it to see how it develops. I first heard about them on the Twit.tv floss podcast, and listened to Bre Pettis give a talk on its development, I’m hooked, I think 3D printing is the way to develop the construction.
