Its not rocket science, having an office blog to promote your designs and office strategy, is a requirement, not an option, and you might do worse that employ wordpress, but do not, I repeat, do not go down the easy to set up wordpress.com path, I know its easy to use and its a 5 min job to set up, but you will regret it, your restricted in what you can do, and they have this thing about advertisements, a real bummer, so take some advise and set up your own url and use the wordpress.org software, its free, and believe me its good, then decide on a theme, I use Thesis. WordPress comes with its own set of free themes, they are ok and theres plenty out there to use, but they are, not in the same league  as Thesis, its a paid for theme that goes way beyond the norm in terms of SEO and ease of use, its the only one I know of that allows 1, 2, or 3 columns, it has a video option and moving or customising fonts or spaces is so easy. Want more, go to the site and watch the demos, or go to Chris Brogans site and see what he has to say, bearing in mind he just might be getting a beer or three for promoting it, I’m not, but what he has to say is right.

It took me about a morning to set up, and get running with Thesis, I imported my old blog quite easily, I use the links on WordPress.org to choose a hosting company that se up wordpress.org for me, or the automated software did it for me, and then installed Thesis, and set it up to my preferences.
