This has to be watched, I think that we can learn a lot from competitions like this. The Zayed Future Energy Prize Offers Innovator a $1.5 Million In Prize at the 2010 World Future Energy Summit, has to be a must for anyone who has an idea or concept, I don’t envy the moderators who have to sift through all the junk thats going to be submitted, but I hope they have a reasonable open mind, and don’t miss the unexpected touch of brilliance that may, just may save this planet,  Read the article on the tree hugger site. And its not just photovoltaic equipment or heat pumps, its about ways of saving energy, its no good finding ways of producing cheap energy, if at the end of the day, Architecture just throws it away, so look at the building savings, can I predict that Nanotechnology, just might come high in the awards, with a new material that costs little to produce and is kind to the environment, but most of all cost little to run.
